Activities - Workshop for senior scholars

The Senior Scholar Workshop (Activity 5) will take place at the University of Hyderabad, on February 28th and 29th, 2008. The main theme of this workshop is ‘Law and Economic Development’. European and Indian scholars working in this field will present papers on different Law and Economics subjects, which will include environmental law, microfinance, intellectual property rights and tort law, just to name a few. On each of the individual topics a European presenter and an Indian presenter will speak, in order to highlight the similarities and differences in approach to the subjects, as well as to provide insights into the way these topics are treated from a European and an Indian perspective.
