Activities - Workshop for Indian Ph.D. students in Europe
A workshop is to be organised (either at the University of Hamburg, Germany, or at the University of Ghent, Belgium) for the Indian Ph.D. students participating in the sandwich programme (see Sandwich Programme). The Ph.D. students are required to submit a 30-page research proposal and to present this at the workshop.
The attendees, besides the Indian Ph.D. students, will not necessarily belong to the participating European institutions, which will give the students a rich variety of sources for discussion. Additionally, as feedback is beneficial to the enhancement of the quality of scholarly work, external referees (not the European supervisors) will evaluate the work presented by the Ph.D. students, and deliver comments.
